Illustrated Album of Sea Ornaments
a four-volume atlas of marine life from the Kangxi dynasty of the Qing dynasty in China, was drawn by Nie Juan.
The book depicts more than 300 species of creatures, both real and undiscovered in modern times,
and it is difficult to tell whether those creatures actually existed or were imagined.
Illustrator Jia Xing Feng and I digitally converted the images of sea creatures in this book
